DESCRIZIONE LUOGO
Environment Engineering Group organises this workcamp for the first time in the Jazak village on the Fruska Gora Mountain with the goal to support the development of a local NGO named Centre for rural development and applied learning in Jazak, as well as to help promote the village Jazak through innovative ideas of the international volunteers. We believe international workcamp volunteers could motivate the local community, especially young people, to get involved in the social life of the village, giving their contribution to its development.
Jazak is a small village in northern part of Serbia, on slopes of the Fruska Gora Mountain, a national park of extraordinary beauty, home to sixteen beautiful monasteries. Jazak is situated at 80 km from Belgrade, 25km from Novi Sad, and 12 km from the closest town of Ruma. Together we will visit a nearby monastery “Jazak”, a swimming pool, and one day we will visit the city of Novi Sad.
